Wing equipment rental
You prefer to travel light and would like to borrow new Wing equipment from the brand North with us? DE SILVA water sports centre offers you the latest trend sports equipment for hire! You already know the Wing and the Foil board so well that you can ride up wind? Then we will be happy to lend you the right wing equipment for your session. Just to be on the safe side, ask our station manager where you can best go wing foiling in the lagoon. If you change to the sea, please let our team know on site
Our rental rates include the board, the wing, a helmet, the leash, life vest, shoes as well as the boat transfer & service. The equipment must be collected and deposited at De Silva Watersports Centre according to the sailing conditions.
Please note that you are fully responsible for the equipment and any damage caused to the material will be charged to you in full.
Wing + Foil Board
Foil wings, also known as wingsurfers or surf wings, are not a new invention. The concept was experimented with by veteran windsurfers as early as the late eighties. Developer Tom Magruder introduced his "Wind Weapon" around 1986. However, the experience of riding with wings on conventional boards was somewhat limited until the advent of modern foil technology. This advancement has significantly enhanced the performance and enjoyment of using foil wings, transforming it into the exhilarating sport we know today
